Pension funds have at least one file per customer. During and even after the lifetime of an employee these files are updated with additional documents several times per year. A large number of pension funds use Xtendis to digitally archive participant files. Expansion has connected Xtendis to the most commonly used pension systems. These interfaces were developed in collaboration with the relevant suppliers, and as a result pension funds actually purchase and implement one single integrated system. One mouse click from a participant's data gives access to the associated participant file.
In addition to scanned paper documents, digital documents are also often stored in the files. These can be documents from the pension system itself as well as mailings generated from Word, for example. Xtendis automatically recognises these documents and archives them in the right file. This reduces human effort for archiving digital documents, such as periodical statements, to the minimum.
