Local cooperative banks

Following the example of Volkskredietbank Noord-Oost Groningen, several credit banks and cooperative banks in the Netherlands have decided to implement Xtendis. This leads to guaranteed integrity of their customer files and immediate access from different locations.

Stadsbank Oost-Nederland, which has branches in Hengelo, Almelo and Enschede, uses Xtendis for the digital archiving of outgoing bank statements. This document flow is transferred fully automatically to Xtendis by the primary Allegro system, after which Xtendis handles the printing and control of the envelope machine. As a result, the statements for one customer are automatically collected and placed in one envelope, so that employees no longer have to sort the printed documents manually.

Stadsbank Oost-Nederland also plans to enter the incoming document flow into Xtendis in the near future. Using Xtendis, correspondence will be processed centrally in Enschede and made available to all branches in digital format.

Other cooperative banks, Stadsbank Leiden and Stadsbank Midden-Nederland have also implemented Xtendis. The implementation at the bank in Leiden currently focuses mainly on digitising the incoming documents and the paper files.

Stadsbank Midden-Nederland, which has eight branches, uses Centric to host Xtendis together with its primary system, Allegro. The branches have access to the interfaced systems via a VPN. Multifunctional printers are used to input documents. In principle, any branch can transmit documents directly to the central Xtendis server, which is managed by Centric.
